Well there are lots of opinions about what you need to do to get the job that you really want, but what is the real answer?
As someone who has hired and unfortunately, also had to fire people over the past 35 years, I think I have a pretty good idea of how employers make these critical decisions. But my ideas may not mirror what the industry thinks. So I have begun a research project to find out.
